FORMAZIONE ARTISTICA E PROFESSIONALE 

    Fin da piccola, affascinata dalle “cose del mondo” , disegna e dipinge tutto ciò che vede: personaggi, animali e oggetti.

Dà seguito a questa sua inclinazione e frequenta il IV Liceo Artistico di Roma dove si diploma nel 1979 con merito.

Dal 1980 al 1985 frequenta assiduamente la “Scuola del nudo” dell’Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma dove acquisisce notevoli competenze sull’anatomia umana.

Nel 1985 decide di dare uno sbocco professionale alle sue capacità e frequenta il Corso biennale di Illustrazione dell’Istituto Europeo del Design di Roma conseguendo il Diploma, con il massimo dei voti, mostrando una particolare attitudine all’iperrealismo con tutte le tecniche.     ​

ESPERIENZE ARTISTICHE E PROFESSIONALI

Inizia il suo percorso professionale come illustratrice già dal 1987 per alcuni studi pubblicitari di Roma (DID’A Advertising, Interno 8) e per alcune case editrici (L’Espresso, Curcio Editore, Lucarini, Carte Segrete).  Già dal 1989 collabora come free lance per importanti agenzie pubblicitarie (Roncaglia & Wijkander, Ogilvy & Mather, McCann Ericsson).

Tra un impegno professionale e l’altro dipinge e partecipa a varie mostre collettive.

Partecipa con le sue illustrazioni a varie edizioni della “Fiera del libro per ragazzi” di Bologna e nel 1995 riceve un riconoscimento “exclusive”, con pubblicazione di una sua tavola, su “Illustration Index”-Premio Page One Publishing di Singapore.

Dal 1989 al 1995 insegna Illustrazione alla Scuola Internazionale di Comics di Roma e negli anni a seguire presso la Romedia.  Insegna pittura con corsi privati per adulti e crea la Scuola di “Pittura Espressiva” per bambini dai tre anni in su.

Dal 2001 lavora come illustratrice per la Keytobe.

Dal 2009 riprende intensamente la pittura e partecipa a varie mostre esponendo anche in sedi prestigiose quali il Campidoglio in Roma, a Palazzo Valentini ed in alcune gallerie d’arte ricevendo vari premi e riconoscimenti.
In quest’ultimo ultimo periodo si dedica ai ritratti di persone, famose e non, animali con la serie dei “gatti” e alle riproduzioni floreali ottenendo molte commissioni.

Insieme all’Associazione “Officina del Tirreno” crea la Mostra “Gesti Virtuosi - Francesco Totti: l’uomo, il campione” con sedici ritratti del capitano dell’A.S. Roma.

La mostra è stata inaugurata a Roma in Campidoglio il 18 giugno 2010 ed è stata poi ospitata ad Albano, Santa Marinella e nell’ambito del “Premio Sette Colli Giallorossi” a Roma.

La sua più recente personale (maggio 2011) è stata ospitata alla Galleria “Baccina 66 - Ex Roma Club Monti” a Roma; una mostra antologica dove è stata proposta, oltre alle tele di “Gesti Virtuosi”, un’ampia panoramica del suo percorso artistico - professionale con oltre cinquanta opere tra dipinti e illustrazioni.

ARTISTIC AND PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

Ever since she was little, fascinated by the "worldly", draws and paints everything she sees: people, animals and objects.

She followed at this attitude and attended the IV Artistic High School in Rome where she graduated with merit in 1979.

From 1980 to 1985 she attended assiduously the "School of the nude" to Academy of Fine Arts in Rome where she acquired considerable competences on human anatomy.

In 1985 she decided to give a professional way out for her skills and attended a biennial course in Illustration at the European Institute of Design in Rome achieving the diploma, with maximum of votes, showing a particular aptitude to hyperrealism with all techniques.​

 

ARTISTIC AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

She began her career as an illustrator since 1987 for some advertising studios in Rome (DID'A Advertising, Interno 8) and for some publishers (L'Espresso, Curcio, Lucarini, Carte Segrete). 

From 1989 to 2000 she worked as a freelance for major advertising agencies (Roncaglia & Wijkander, Ogilvy & Mather, McCann Ericsson).
Among a professional commitment and the other, she paints and takes part in various collective exhibitions.

She participated with her illustrations in various editions of the "Children's Book Fair" in Bologna and in 1995 received an award "exclusive", with publication of her work, on "Illustration Index" Page One Award-Publishing of Singapore.
From 1989 to 1995 she taught Illustration at the International School of Comics in Rome and in the years to follow at Romedia.
She taught private painting lessons for adults and she founded the School of "Expressive Painting" for children from three years onwards.
From 2001 she's working as illustrator for Keytobe.
Since 2009 she resumed to paint intensively and she participated in various exhibitions in prestigious places such as the Campidoglio in Rome, at Palazzo Valentini and some art galleries and she received various awards and recognitions. 
In this latest period she’s dedicating to portraits of people, famous or not, animals with series of "cats" and floral reproductions obtaining many commissions.

With the Association "Officina del Tirreno" she has created an exhibition entitled "Gesti Virtuosi - Francesco Totti: the man, the champion" with sixteen portraits of A.S. Rome’s captain.

The exhibition was inaugurated at the Campidoglio in Rome in June 18, 2010 and then was hosted at Albano, in Santa Marinella and in the context of the "Sette Colli Giallorossi Award" in Rome.

Her most recent personal exhibition (May 2011) was hosted at the Gallery "Baccina 66 - Ex Roma Club Monti " in Rome: a retrospective exhibition where has been proposed, besides the paintings of "Gesti Virtuosi", a broad overview of her artistic and professional career with more than fifty paintings and illustrations.
